Organizations

St. Johns offers many opportunities for Christian Fellowship.

Youth Group, Young Adult and Family Ministries

Lots of activities are going on all of the time for the younger members of the St. Johns family.  Check out the calendar  and other information under the Youth & Young Adults section of this website.

Women’s Fellowship

St. Johns Women’s Fellowship was founded in 1860 and has been a vital part of the life of the church ever since.  The group has changed names, from Frauenverein to Ladies Aid to Women’s Guild to Women’s Fellowship, always a gathering for friendship and service.  The group meets the first Thursday of each month for lunch at 11:30am with a meeting & program at 12:30pm, programs themes can be informal or entertaining.

Quilters

Our quilters are the latest in a long line of St. Johns members who meet to quilt.  Some of the quilts made by the group are sold or raffled at the Harvest Fest.  They meet each Thursday morning.

Marys and Marthas

This women’s organization, formed in 1979, is primarily a service group.  It’s efforts include leadership at the Spring and Fall Rummage Sales, as well as organizing and participating in a variety of St. Johns projects.

Men’s Breakfast Group

This men’s group gathers for breakfast and fellowship on the third Monday of each month.  Sometime it’s just breakfast and sometimes there is a discussion of one thing or another! They always have a good time sharing stories and life experiences.

Sports

We have a full-size gym and it is used for a variety of events and activities.  We have the usual sports like volleyball and soccer, but we also have dartball.  Fit for Life Exercise sessions are held twice a week.  Our facilities are also used by groups from the community including a volleyball group, baton classes and College dance classes.  Visit the “Posts” section to learn more about Soccer sign-ups,  check the calendar section for dates & times for all sports activities.  Contact the office for additional information.
