Communion

You are invited to partake of the Sacrament of Communion
which is celebrated on the first Sunday of each month
and on other special days including:
Christmas Day
Easter
Pentecost
World Wide Communion Day.

At St. Johns we practice open communion,
meaning that all are welcome at the Lord’s Table.
This includes non-members, visitors,
and all persons worshiping with us.
Bread, wafers, wine and white grape juice
are the elements we use for communion.

Children of our church family
traditionally receive instruction concerning this sacrament
throughout their Christian Education experience.

Should you or a family member be unable to attend worship
and desire to receive communion,
please contact the church office.
The Pastors makes every effort to provide communion and visit
with all of our home-bound members on a regular basis.
